I was invited to work for the foundation in 2014 during their annual promotion campaign. The purpose of it is to get people around the country to nominate somebody they find to be inspiring or someone who’s acts make them a daily hero. The campaign of 15/16 also marked the ten year anniversary for the foundation which allowed me the opportunity to design a prospectus about the achievements of the foundation thus far.
Emma Arnesson was awarded the 2015 scholarship in the non-profit organisation category for having founded Hej Främling – an organisation that acts to integrate and help people living in refugee facilities by creating meaningful relations, exercise and education! Since the foundation’s founding in 2006, 30 young leaders like Emma have been recognised, celebrated and given financial support to continue to develop themselves and their work.
